Connecting To District WiFi

There is an overarching WiFi network named "MHUSD" that is accessible on all MHUSD sites.  Your district issued device will connect automatically to it but you may want to connect your personal device(s) to it as well.  The process is a little different for each device but these guidelines should get you connected.

Unlike a normal WiFi network, MHUSD WiFi will request a username and password when you try to connect to it. Below are the username formats you should enter based on your device. The password will be the same one you use for your other district accounts (email, Aeries, etc) .

sType Format Example

Apple/iOS [First Name].[Last Name] john.smith

Android MHU\[First Name].[Last Name] MHU\john.smith

Windows MHU\[First Name].[Last Name] MHU\john.smith

NOTE FOR ANDROID USERS

On Android versions 11 and lower, you will need to set the CA certificate to "Do not validate" and EAP method to "PEAP".

On Andriod versions 13 and higher, you will need to set CA certificate to "Trust on First Use" and EAP method to "PEAP"

Due to changes in the operating system, phones running Android 12 will not be able to connect to the MHUSD network.
